If there is an old awning on your RV, please measure its size from arm center to arm center.

If not, please measure the awning size and avoid obstacles such as the RV doors, windows, cabins, etc.

It would be much better if you could confirm the designed installation position of the awning with your RV factory.

At least five feet. Our awning installed height is 72.5 inches from the sail track to the bottom bracket of the arm. Please see the following drawings. If you have a taller vehicle, you can increase the length of the arm by extending the set screw of the awning arm (we provide it with the awning). The awning will fit your RV. If your body is short, we can customize the arm for you and ship it from the China factory.

Hi, our fabric is water resistant, but we suggest you put the awning close on rainy days. A large amount of water accumulates on the fabric, which will bend the pipe, which is very unfavorable to the maintenance of the awning. If you must use it on a rainy day, it is recommended that you lower one arm to let the water flow down.

Yes, it is no problem to change the electric one to a manual one. Actually, if you take off the old electric awning completely and install a new manual awning, it is simple to change. Take off the old one, and cut the wire at the RV outside. Then measure the manual awning size on your trailer and install the parts. It is simple. Since different brands and types of awnings have varying installation requirements, it needs to drill extra holes around the old awning installation positions.

Our awning will be shipped with two parcels, one for fabric around 85cm width, and another one for the frame around 180 cm-230 cm depends on the awning size. The weight is about 68lb.

We have a LED Stripe Groove but we don’t offer the LED strip. For your reference, our sail track channel is 12 mm in size. An LED strip with a 10-11 mm width, which should be easy to find locally, will fit directly into the channel.

The pins need to be taken off on the top. We turned 7 circles at the factory to make the springs with half tension, when the awning pin is taken off from the top and pulled out. It will add extra tension for the spring. Could you please watch this video and reinstall the awning again? It is easy, only a few steps change.

Step1. Completely open the awning at the bottom, Insert the pins back, and then take off the arm. 
Step2. Rolling back the awning completely roller by hand, connect the awning arm on the top of the awning, like below picture. Then take off the pins.

Because the awning fabric is matched with the tubes. If the tube is shorter, the fabric will be useless, unless you can cut the fabric and sewn it.

We do sell the rail track. However, as it will be shipped out from China, the delivery fee would be high. So, we suggest you buy the same rail track in your local store. Or for a more economical choice, you may prepare 2 Stainless Steel Plates as replacements. The width should be over 10 mm, and the length should be over 1.9 m-2.0 m.

The spring is less tense now. Do you still remember when did you take off the pin when you installed the awning?
The pins need to be removed at the top while fully closed after the awning is attached to the RV body.
because We tensioned the spring at the factory, so it will be half-tensioned. If the awning pins are removed at the top, the pulling-out progress will add extra tension (the other half), so the spring tension works well.

Step1. Fully open the awning, insert the pins back, then remove the arms.
Step2. Manually and fully roll back the awning, connect the awning arms, and then remove the pins.
