We didn't suggest it, it is better to have new holes around the old installation position.

Because the old installation position is not good to fix the screws. And different brand awnings come with different install positions.

It is better to order a 12 feet awning, but please note, that 12 feet is 144 inch, shorter than the current awning you
measured, So the installation position will be different from your current awning.
