Customer Reviews
I reported that the poly cord was damaged when it arrived. I was able to use black tape to secure it so I could at least install the Slide Topper for our upcoming trip. But I would like to have it replaced. The company's reply:
"Thank you for your concern regarding this. Since the awning size you purchased is relatively small, the pressure on the poly cord is minimal. Therefore, a breakage would not significantly affect the awning fabric performance."
If I ever have to re-tension the fabric, I have to pull the cord out first. I could easily see the black tape coming loose and ripping the fabric as I remove it.
Packaged well. All contents accounted for plus extra hardware in case you strip, break or loose one. Only negative thing I can say is that to properly fasten the mounting plate to the slidout framework the arms are an inch short sliding into that plate as seen on the picture. Not sure if this is true with all manufacturers but I would personally want the plate properly secured, so I gave up the 1 inch on the arms.

How to measure and confirm your RV slide out awning size
- Please make sure your slideout extension distance is smaller than 51 inches or 4 feet. Measure the edgeto edge distance of your slideout and make sure that the fabric size you choose (not awning size) can fully cover the top of your slide out.
- If your slide topper has an old awning, please measure the old awning fabric size. If not, measure the flange edge to edge distance of your slideout and set it as your fabric size. Your awning size should be 7 inches longer than the fabric size.

- Regularly check if the awning fastenersare kept tight. lf they are loose,tighten all fasteners. Periodically clean the awning fabric and arms.
- How to clean awning fabric
Monthly, flush off the awning fabric with clean water and thoroughly cleanthe fabric with a soft brush and warm water every one or two years.
Note: When you clean the fabric only use natural soap and clean water andmake sure ALL the cleaner is rinsed off after cleaning. Never use detergent.oilbased cleaners, or any caustic, granulate, or abrasive type cleaners.Airdry, DON'Troll up the awning until the fabric is completely dry.Vinyl fabric offers the advantage of durability and water resistance.Wrinkling may be more noticeable when retracted and after prolongedperiods of storage. in warm weather, open it up for a period of time tominimize the wrinkling. Leave the awning open during warm weather tominimize the wrinkling over time.
